PAPAIOANNOU S.A. was established in 1990, being the last stage of expansion of a long family tradition in olive oil. A tradition which goes back more than five decades and the roots of which are lying in a small mountainous village of Peloponnese, named Eleochori which means Olive-village.

We started our business life as a tiny family company selling our products to the local market. Our strong commitment to quality, consistency, competitiveness and respect, both to our customers and the consumer led to a very rapid expansion of our business so that nowadays we can claim with proud that we are ranking among the leading olive oil packing companies in Greece. However, despite our spectacular expansion and growth rates achieved we still remain a family company respecting and following the same business philosophy which we inherited from our predecessors.

We are a fully modern company in terms of infrastructure with our premises located about 50 km away from Athens, a place that allows easy access and convenience to the whole market. We are certified under the HACCP system and we apply the most advance hygiene measures and also a full series of chemical and organoleptic controls in order to secure top quality for our products. However, we still follow a traditional family-oriented way to run this modern business. We insist on total family control to the whole production chain, from the very beginning when the olive oil arrives to our premises, till the moment it is packed and ready to go into the market. We always sell to the final consumer the very same product we are using ourselves.

Our main objective and top priority is Extra Virgin Olive oil which makes up more than 70 % of our annual volume of work. We are dedicated to Greek extra virgin olive oil which we strongly believe is the best in the world! A liquid gold gifted by the Greek nature and blessed by the Olympian Gods! It goes without saying that despite our preference to extra virgin olive oil we also pack and sell Olive Oil and Olive Pomace Oil, the other two categories of the product.

We are selling our products to the domestic market, but primarily we are an export-oriented company, currently exporting to the USA, UK, Australia,China, Tokyo, Hong-Kong ,Saudi Arabia ,Dubai U.A.E, Kuwait, Switzerland, Poland and Germany, under our brand names ARCADAS, CRETA GOLD, and ARCADAS GOLD.
